If you're interested in leaving the planet, you could be waiting a long time for a passenger flight. Or, you could hitch a ride on the Space Train right now.
This wall sculpture is a study in layered geometry and industrial tension. Built from multiple layers of laser-cut wood, the piece uses a palette of slate, crimson, and ochre to create a sense of mechanical depth.
At the center, four stainless steel turnbuckles meet at a single ring, providing a physical point of tension that anchors the radiating wood segments. I wanted this piece to explore the intersection of organic materials and the rigid, high-tech aesthetics of modern engineering.
