This piece was inspired by the true story of Luna the elephant, who endured over fifty years of forced begging. Rescued by Wildlife SOS in 2019, Luna received critical medical care and comfort at their Elephant Hospital, before passing away a few short weeks later.
My hope is to shine light on the unfair practices and mistreatment endured by show animals, like Luna, and amplify awareness for this critical cause. 10% of sales go directly to Wildlife SOS to support their vital work.

PROCESS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
I use my digital drawings and designs to make each sculpture to order in my Fort Collins workshop. While this results in a near replica, each piece will have unique, one of a kind qualities due to natural wood grain variations, stain customization, and the nature of handcrafted creation.
