This piece expands upon the elements of the Colorado State Flag, designed over a century ago.
Its distinct colors – the blue of the sky, the white of the snow-covered peaks, the golden hue of the sunshine, and the red of the earth – are reflected in the composition of each layer.
The layered construction creates a subtle three-dimensional effect, offering a multi-faceted representation of this beloved state.

I use my digital drawings and designs to make each sculpture to order in my Fort Collins workshop. While this results in a near replica, each piece will have unique, one of a kind qualities due to natural wood grain variations, stain customization, and the nature of handcrafted creation.
